Variables

You can store variables local, so the current TPT project can handle the variables. You can, for example, specify a variable for a basic directory and reuse the variable name in the Directory field of the Execution Configuration dialog.

The following icons can be used to create or delete project-specific variables.

	creates a new project-specific variable
	deletes the selected project-specific variable

Click Create a new variable. Enter a variable name and a value you want to assign.

Project-specific variables take precedence over global variables with the same name. The message overrides global value <value> then appears in the Value column of the TPT Tool Preferences dialog.

Select Show in report to display the variables in the Overview report.
